😠 The restaurant was unappealing. We ordered a water but it tasted awful. We ordered the gourmet grilled cheese and the old fashioned grilled cheese. They were ok. The fries were flavorless. I don't recommend this place. Drive to Halletsville and stop at Jalisco's instead.

👍 Cold dark bar, like it should be. Couldn't get a Shiner at the brewery. Closed for the pandemic. Had to get a Shiner before I left Shiner. Came across this little bar. Barkeep was friendly. Beers were cheap. Some local yokels regulars were harmless. Decent way to spend a little pause in Shiner, TX.

👍👍 Great old school country grocery store. The store is small but clean and well stocked. Fresh meats, nice selection of sausages made in house. Fresh produce. Staff is polite and the person bagging your groceries will also carry them and help you load them into your car. great service.

👍👍 The amount of food you get does not equal the price. We split a plate thinking it would be enough since it was priced so high but we were way off on that. We had a little bit of a hard time getting a server to come see us too. It's a great atmosphere but a few little things are missing.
