👍👍 Quiet, beautiful, and one favorite local spots for rock hounding! I had handfuls of keepers before we got to the waterfront. Tons of fossils, including petoskeys on shore everytime we go. Pretty good luck with beach glass and agates too.

👍👍 This is a beautiful place to visit. If you would like to hike, do not go to the official location instead go to this pin: Near 8401-8707 Township Hwy 76, Shreve, OH 44676 That will allow you to find a nice place to hike and explore! You can search for all the abandoned vehicles too!

👍 Very natural, trees in all kinds of conditions. You might have to walk through some brush to get into the woods with minimal undergrowth. Big enough to walk for an afternoon. Water level was low. Trash thrown around in popular hunting and fishing spots
