Golden Eagle Regional Park
Park
ππ Coming from Concord California and staying up here for a few days, I decided to bring a few bats and some softballs. Hit this place up and to be honest, I've never seen anything like it! Saying its a BEAUTIFUL Sporting Complex, doesnt do it justice. The fields are open to the public, far as I know....

Pah Rah Mountain Park
Park
ππ Pah Rah has always been a nice park, been coming here for years. Lots of trees for shade, benches scattered about to sit down at, a nice-sized gazebo for parties and get-togethers, and plenty of space to do what people do at the park. Park maintenance has always been good at keeping it nice.

Willowcreek Park
Park
π The park is nice and clean, a lot of green grass which is important to me. There are some nice playground for little children. Compared to how open the space is I think there lack of seating area.also, it is very close to the roads. If you have little kids that could be little concerning for safety...

Rock Park
Park
ππ It's a beautiful Park and not crowded at all. There's lots of shade yet also lots of sunny areas. You and your pets can have a picnic in the grass and then sun on a rock along the calm water. Also can't forget to have some ice cream from the ice cream truck to cool you down! And then as if that's n...

Shelly Park
Park
π Great park but needs more seating in the shade and some water fountains. Must bring your own water if you plan on being here for a while. If you bring kids there's so much for them to do you'll be there for a bit.

Cottonwood Park
Park
π Beautiful park off the beaten path, marred by transient population using the site to day camp and of course the occasional homeless. The day camper types often let their dogs run loose without a leash.
Park is situated on the Truckee and does provide some treats of nature if you're willing to toler...

Poulakidas Park
Park
π Older park but perfect spot for a group bbq. Nice playground and shade structure, plenty of parking. Only thing that would have rated higher is there are no restrooms so only good for a short visit.

ππ I love this little park, well maintained, lovely big trees for shade, paved path for walking. And if you lap it four times, you walked just a bit more than a mile.

Aimone Park
Park
π This is a wonderful little park, but it needs a little attention. The tennis courts are in rough shape, and could use resurfacing, along with the new nets. It is nestled in an older, working-class neighborhood and has its share of people-watching opportunities while swinging the racket.

ππ My boss called and said he needed help . said he would pick me up . he did and he brought me to sparks Mobil home park to fix a plumbing leak. Although leak was in a tough spot. Deer Park
Park
π The pool was huge and clean. They lack seating. Make sure to bring your own. In a hot day a heated pool isn't exactly what you're looking for either. Staff was friendly but they could of warned you when we got there at 12:45, that they kick you out for an hour at 2.

Gateway Park

π I used to love biking down the trail next to the truckee river around this park. Now the homeless situation is terrible. There are tents everywhere and garbage all along the path. It gets better when you get out of Sparks and into Reno.
