👍👍 Beautiful beach. Low key (not many people). The water was warm (close to 80 F) in August. Smallish parking lot. Lots of stairs. Port-a-potties. No changing facilities or faucets for rinsing off. We had a great time with our kids (ages 1-6).

👍👍 Had a great time walking the trails with my wife and our dogs. Had to step over a few downed trees due to a storm that came through the day before. But to me that’s part of the adventure.

👍👍 1.6 miles if you take all of the outer loops. Well maintained path with young beech and large oak trees. If you take the small loop at the north end you see a nice ravine with a creek flowing through.

😠 This park has a nice kayak ramp but the water is gross and it is next to the highway so it’s super loud. Going up river there are tree galore and no way to go. Downriver there are a lot of trees and it’s just not a peaceful, fun paddle.
