👍👍 The greatest local lake around. The beach is wonderful. They even have a life guard. There are walking trails, sitting area, bar-b-q area, play ground, and more. Then you have the best quaint little town of Lakehurst to window shop, get ice cream, pizza, etc. I love this town!

👍👍 (writing as of today 2021 of this year) the egg harbor city lake is very clean, the new manager (which is my mom) is the best manager in the whole world ❤️❤️❤️ and i am proud of her!!! the life guards are good at their job! please come to this lake! thank you! ❤️

😠 They mined monazite there if I'm not mistaken it contains radioactive thorium there are some warnings posted about the radioactive contamination it's no Chernobyl but I stopped riding there in the mid 90s after me and my friends found out
