Peaceful preserve on former military base featuring beaches, disc golf, hikes & observation tower.

👍👍 Nice long pier, around a mile long. Lots of trails to sightsee . Cookout area with grills & tables. 24hrs . Free parking. Seen lots of crabs in the rocks. Caught Catfish & brown toad fish. Edit--- pier is currently not 24hrs. Waiting for new lighting installation to return to 24hr status.

🫤 I was very disappointed in the room we had at Beach Bum West-O. It was so tiny, no place to put luggage, no chair to sit in, only two tall metal stools at a stand made out of 2x4’s.
