Diablo Lake Vista Point
Tourist attraction
ππ Amazing views of Lake Diablo with the towering mountains in the backdrop.
Came here around 9 pm just a little after sunset at the end of June and managed to get a view of a teal lake contrasted with the green covered mountains set against the magnificent, flaming sunset.
Truly a symphony of colors...

Fragrance Lake Trailhead
Park
ππ One of the best hikes within 1.5hr drive from Seattle. The trails are wide, well maintained, and quite gentle- excellent for people with some knee issues like myself. If you donβt have a pass for parking, you can pay onsite. It takes about 4hr hike round trip.

ππ Beautiful falls hidden behind the hydro plant. I guess this area was once very well maintained as a garden space. I would have loved to see it in its heyday, but it is a lovely spot to see the waterfall! The adjacent hydro plant has a great little exhibit about power generation in the area, a pl...

π Great park for a flat trail along the water, a good steeper trail to views. From the lakeshore trail, A few places along the trail are good spots for small groups to hang out at the water. The main parking lot is small but there is another trailhead parking lot not to far away. Not a park for open f...
