McCown Valley Park

ππ We camped (site 60) here two times (October and December) and had a great time. The shower/bathroom/trash area is close by. It is not crowded, and the environment is clean. Pups had a great time swimming. There are horse stalls, boat ramp, hiking areas, swimming area, playground, grills... Our camp...

Rustic little cabins and a great restaurant.
Great service and food.

Walling Bend Park
Campground
ππ This location has been a long-time favorite of mine... and now my kids love it just as much as I do! The water is always clear- its a rock bottom at this location and has very little mud, if any at all, while entering the water from the shore. There are several cliffs, all different hights! Plenty o...

Lofers Bend West
Campground
ππ Spent a couple of beautiful days at lofers bend west camping on the lake!
The first day was really windy and a little bit chilly but I was able to get a spot in the trees which was a little bit more protected because the park wasnβt completely full that night. The next day I moved to another campgr...

Cherokee Village Resort
Cabin rental agency
ππ Cherokee village is one of the nicest places to stay on lake Whitney. We were visiting Serenity cove and had planned to stay at another place but when we got there the place was horrible. Made a call to Cherokee village and they put me in a room with ease. The room was set up like an apartment and v...

Whitney Resorts
Resort hotel
ππ Very quiet. Wonderful, accommodating staff. Permanent residents were very welcoming. The roads into the resort and leaving the resort do need work. Most of the interior roads need a bit of improvement but not as much as leading in and out of the resort. We will be visiting again!!

Lake Life RV Park - Lake Whitney

π«€ Tex RV park is a quint place very near Lake Whitney. Inside the park, on the outer loop is all full time setups (The full timers we met were all super nice), while the middle section is for your weekend warriors. The sites are pull through, yet small and not much room leftover after you setup (The n...

Thousand Trails Lake Whitney
Campground
ππ We have really enjoyed our stay here at Lake Whitney. The sites are nicely treed and the way they are situated make them pretty private too. The lodge near the lake is good, the pool looks good though it was closed most days because of weather so we didn't use it. However, both the pool and hot tu...

Thousand Trails Lake Whitney
Lodging
π Lots of amenities for families like disc golf, 2 pools, rec room, mini golf and more! Sites are spacious and private was able to fit my 40ft MH and Jeep with no issues. Biggest complaint is the roads. Large holes would make me concerned to drive on if we didn't have a jeep. Great trails here also!

Rose Harbor RV Park
RV park
π Price is good. Just don't come here during rainy days. It's a swamp in the middle parking. No parking concrete slabs. Look to park by the house or that area.
