👍👍 It has some of the best views of lake Tahoe. A very quite and relaxing place. You can also do a small steep trek to have the experience of trekking for those who can't do long treks. Getting down the hill is easy when compared to climbing back up. It's full of slippery sand so be careful.

👍👍 Beautiful scenery at every turn, no beach charges. Is free to go inside the beach. Better views then the ones you have to pay $25 dollars for.

👍👍 Gorgeous sunsets at zephyr Beach. Loved this place. They charge $12 for day use, but if you after 6pm it's free, no one is at the booth. We went multiple days to watch the sunset. And they allow dogs by the Rocks.

👍👍 Genoa is a gem of a little town! Mormon Station had a very informative museum and knowledgeable park Ranger. The station itself was set up as a walking tour among a beautiful grassey setting. There were park tables & benches scattered, also equipment from 1800's the pioneers used.

👍👍 A great nature trail that is about a mile long from the parking area to the lake. The trail passes by a pond, a large open field/meadow, cuts through some trees in the forest with multiple trails branching off, and ends at the lake with a large campground and a large beach area to relax.

👍👍 I visited this park on 7/18/2022. A lot of parking spaces, clean bathrooms. This trail is steep, sand but pay back with spectacular view at the end. Bring a lot of water, sunscreen, hat, camera, hiking shoes. It was an unforgettable.
