This former U.S. Army base is now a tranquil park with a beach & nesting areas for piping plovers.

👍👍 Well kept historical site that I highly recommend. There's a museum and trails. Trails are very easy. The bridges are nice. There's a small zoo here as well. Parking on site, but be aware gate closes at 5pm.

Reconstructed Dutch farmstead & site of the 1776 Battle of Brooklyn, with local history displays.

👍👍 Very interesting place. I wish they were open through the regular business hours. Although the view around is beautiful any time of the day the interior looks pretty abandoned.
