👍👍 Gorgeous place to visit on your way to Punta del Este/Montevideo. The building is fantastic, such organic architecture is truly inspiring; the views are gorgeous and the collection is quite fascinating!

👍👍 Ok, we may have ordered too much… but we were soo happy to finally find a place in Uruguay were they‘ve served a proper breakfast. And it was delicious! Scrambled eggs (ok, you can get that at a lot of places), avocado toast, smoothie and good coffee! And nice staff! So we can recommend it!

👍👍 Spend a few hours contemplating las grutas and the water. It may get a little choppy to get into the water, though. Passing las grutas 10' by car, towards Montevideo, there are some really nice beaches (e.g., Solanas or Portezuelo).
