👍👍 Such a fun center, so many live animals and things to touch and microscopes to use. Tons of books, play area for littles, a nature center down below, and awesome staff. Not sure how it is when crowded, excited to check out some programs.

👍👍 We came to the C&O Canal Towpath (around lock 20) on weekend. The trail to get to Great Falls overlook was pretty well maintained, and the scenery along the way was also beautiful. Since the bikes couldn’t get into this particular trail, it was much more tranquil and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

👍👍 Beautiful hike but many bikers start coming out around 11 so if you are hiking you should get there early or you will be stopping a lot to let them pass. Photos are from May 17, 2020.
