Best places: Tempura bowl restaurants in Zhudong, Taiwan

👍 Friendly but sometimes very slow service (once, with a 3/4 full restaurant, it still took almost 30 minutes) in a department store food court tendon restaurant. Pretty good tendon, especially the eel and shrimp. Go early or late around lunchtime - can get crowded

😠 They have a terrible rule of "everyone needs to order something" regardless of if you can finish them. The photos may look nice but it's at least 80% rice and the bow isn't even deep. Very deceiving of their serving size. The tempura aren't crispy as well. Food and drinks are way overpriced.
