👍👍 Well it's great if you want a walk. Went after the kids went back after summer hols, so quieter than normal I'd imagine. Well maintained paths, breathtaking scenery, the only thing that would spoil it would be other people. But that's true about everywhere.

I live just beyond the canal basin and it is simply a heavenly place. A nice big marina with a nearby theatre cafe. There are also barge rides, canoe and boat hire. The footpath along the canal is just wonderful and you can go as long as you wish to, all the way to Newport if need be....
