👍👍 Such an evocative location, this simple church building has so many features that connect the visitor with its early Christian history and the important characters from that era, some 1300 years ago ... but also indirectly with the Romans from half a millennium earlier.

👍 I went to a christening here and it's a beautiful church. There are no parking spaces at the church so you'll have to use the main car park opposite the church. It's right next to the road which gets quite busy so keep an eye out for your little ones.

👍👍 Alhamdulillah a beautiful Mosque, constant improvements being made to make it a second home for our Muslim community, Friday kids activities, wheelchair access, Islam and Quran classes. Everyone always welcome, tea, coffee and biscuits for visitors, open days, events and much more.

👍👍 A wonderful friendly church and environment. Which makes everyone welcome regardless of race colour or creed. A credit to the people involved in the running of this wonderful building. And a great land mark for the city of Sunderland straight off the bridge. I was so glad I came across it.

😠 Not a welcoming church at all! As a visitor I was pointedly ignored and left alone, despite being blind (or maybe because of it).

👍👍 Newcastle City Council did very well to entrust this building to the Presbyterians. These people have renovated the church to a very high standard. Definitely worth a visit!
