👍👍 Good size car park, fairly reasonable. Cafe and toilets in original station building. Access straight onto the trail. Turn left and walk towards the old mills, now converted into living accommodation. Turn right and head towards monsal head, probably the more interesting direction.

👍👍 If you want a peaceful walk, use this gate, no playgrounds but lovely walks, we walked up to bracebridge pool and then over the 40 bridges to the cafe, it can get muddy and boggy in places when it's been raining, but not too bad
