👍 Smaller in scale than London, but there are good shops and establishments. Local landmarks include a stone pagoda, donated by a prominent local Chinese business as well as Chinese architectural flourishes around the Arcadian and surrounding area. It's nice enough.

👍👍 Very unusual but an excellent, quirky local landmark! Can't go inside as it is private property, but the Bridgewater Canal is lovely along this stretch towards Worsley and you can get some great views of lighthouse from the towpath. You can see the top of it from the road if you're driving past.
