👍👍 This is a beautiful semi-secluded beach located within a forest preserve at an old US Army soldier fort. The water is clean and clear, the beach is beautiful, and the preserve trails are easy to navigate. Love going here.

👍👍 This park is a hidden gem. It is fenced and gated, has Astro turf, and has separate play areas for younger and older kids. There’s so much to do on both sides of the playground.

👍👍 Food truck Thursdays!! Come eat and listen to live music. The park grounds are plenty big, with tables or plenty of ground space for blankets or bring your own camping chairs. Offers sun and shade, with able parking.

👍👍 This playground is great for ages two through 12. There is one section for the younger kids and another section for the older kids. The ground is covered in a rubberized coat so it’s good for falls. There is parking nearby in the train station parking lot and tennis courts next to the playground.

👍 Nice and quiet little park where one can go for a walk with pets. Sometimes when it rains there's tons of water on the north side of the park so watch out for puddles.
