👍 Gorgeous beach! Just be aware they do try to make this not friendly for anyone who doesn’t live in this wealthy area. You have to pay for parking ($10 an hour) and $10 per person beach pass. They really do not want non locals (aka not rich white folks) coming here lol

👍👍 This is a beautiful semi-secluded beach located within a forest preserve at an old US Army soldier fort. The water is clean and clear, the beach is beautiful, and the preserve trails are easy to navigate. Love going here.

👍👍 Loved this place. They have a house distilled bourbon that's awesome. The cocktails are great. We had a salad pizza with lettuce and red wine vinegar. That was very different and nice. Good place to bring friends along for the evening.

👍👍 This park is a hidden gem. It is fenced and gated, has Astro turf, and has separate play areas for younger and older kids. There’s so much to do on both sides of the playground.
