👍👍 Today was a high tide at 9:30AM combined with a Tsunami due to a volcano in the South Pacific. Not a major issue, but high tides and strong waves were the result. Lots of fresh driftwood has been dumped on the beach as well.

👍👍 Lovely walk of over grown trails along the Mad River Bluff. There's more than one way in and out and around... there's an open dog park before the trails with a dog water station. The playground is fenced in ( no dogs allowed in) by the parking lot and bathrooms there as well.

👍👍 $25 a night per car ($22 for veterans). Several camp sites with fire rings, picnic tables, and large flat spots for tents. Potable water on site as well. We had 2x4man tents with plenty of room. There is also a bathroom but no showers. It's a short walk to the beach and lots of wood available.

👍👍 Just love this park. Clean great place for kids of all ages and dog poop bags provided. And no poison used on grass. I'm a camp fire survivor and feel so blessed to live in Mckinnleyville now!
This is an awesome park.

The immediate area you park at has picnic tables and good area for playing, lots of grass and trees. If you walk one of...
