👍👍 Waltham Public Library is a classic New England library. The selection of books is great, the architecture is beautiful, there’s lot of little nooks and desks to study at. It’s busy but nearly silent inside. The staff is helpful and polite. There’s a few floors. The book selection was fantastic.

My younger kids enjoy the many activities hosted by the librarians and spending time in the children's reading area. 😐 Nice library but not a place to study. The staff on the second floor are pretty loud. Despite using the quiet study rooms you can still hear the loud conversations amongst staff unfortunately. If you are planning to study here bring ear plugs or headphones playing white noise.
