Best places: Accommodations in Shadow Lakes, United States

👍 This is a great place to stay on Route 66, We spent a few days exploring the area and could have spent more time. This a a very reasonably priced , Super Clean place to stay. There are several mentions about the passing trains, Don't give it a second thought. We never really heard them.

👍👍 This is a nice, clean and quiet campground. The restrooms are clean and well kept. The lots are drive thru, with sewer right at the site. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I even found a geocache while I was there. Lots of hiking, bike riding, Eufaula lake site for kayaking, a salt water pool...

👍👍 Gus at the front desk was great. He ended up charging us for a double, but it came out about even. Shower curtain rings were a nice touch… Bed was wet tho, as if someone left beer on it while vibrating. Bring your own pillow if allergic to sponge!
