👍👍 Great place! Quiet place , friendly staff. The prices have gone up, if you're a not a resident of Islip its about $25 per person. Kids under 3 are free.

👍👍 My friends and I had a great educational day here. We learned about the old Croton Aqueduct, saw a film, had the opportunity to enter the tunnel, and even checked out sample jail cells from Sing Sing. All for free! I plan to return someday.

This NYC Parks Department rec center set in a historical building has an indoor pool & weight room.

👍👍 Duerr Park is a family favorite. They have baseball games and a concession stand. The pool is big witg nice lifeguards. Waters always clean with not too much chlorine in it. The atmosphere is superb. It is located away from the city. The people that work here and attend this paek are generally nice...

😠 Pool is not open as of 6/22/22 and from the looks may not open for the season. I would check prior to going so you don't let down your kids.

👍👍 The premises is very clean and inviting for a relaxing day at the pool. The water is warm and crystal clear for swimming. Lifeguards are on duty at all times and they are very friendly to the kids. We had a wonderful time and it was a great experience.
