👍👍 Incredible view. A bit hard to find (Google maps will lead you astray). Follow the signs that say "Kastro" to find the path. Then climb the stairs all the way up. There are two churches up there, so don't just stop at the first one.

👍👍 Time well spent ! The tour guide was incredible, very friendly and well-spoken. Tour includes wineries, gardens, horses, Queen tower, and wine tasting. I suggest to dress accordingly to weather as most of the time is spent outside, as well wear warmer socks or you can buy slippers for 1,50€ to wear...

👍👍 Glorious Mystras - a beautiful and atmospheric place. Best to park at the Fortress Gate and scramble up to the citadel first. Then you can wander down to all the best sites. Parking is much easier up here too. Be warned - no toilets at the upper entrance though. You can easily spend half a day here....

👍 Beautiful castle, accessable by car or walking… entrance is 3 euros but u can make photos in the area before buying tickets and the view is also amazing from there..

👍👍 Nice center placed in city, free to access. You can climb on clock tower to have best around city view / panorama. Central citadel bulding itself is close (in 2022) but You can see some parts outside. There is additional trail around whole citadel.

👍👍 Surprisingly well preserved castle (great restoration work) with great views of the Thessalian plains. The castle is small but definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
