🫤 Cool place with some interesting rocks and fossils. I bought some “dinosaur bone” pieces, but a geologist told me they were just cool rocks and had no evidence of being bone at all. There is another rock shop with some better deals but I highly recommend stopping here even to just look around.

👍👍 Great audio tour for learning about traditional mining as it evolved over the decades from hand drilling to compressed air and water, from mules to mechanized muckrakes. Also interesting how the town built this underground tour facility along with their Community Center. Well-planned!

👍👍 This place was awesome! I enjoyed it even more so than St. Elmo. The scenery really takes you back to just how it must have been like when people actually lived there. The buildings are beautiful relic fragments of a time gone by. Loved it!!

Watch it first then visit exhibits. We also enjoyed the displays on the outside deck while we waited for them...
