Best places: Natural history museums in Fruita, United States

👍 It is really fun to see the bones in the wall. Visited this place 28 years ago, and it hasn't changed much. Just spent more time driving around looking at the scenery inside the boundaries of the monument. Beautiful.

Exhibits include collections of real fossils, a simulated earthquake ride & robotic reconstructions.

👍👍 A small museum packed with beautiful displays! Very kid friendly with an excavation pit and wash station, and they're open through the winter. Obviously a work of love, most of the main displays are fossils (or replicas) found in paleo digs nearby. This museum is only going to get better as they can...
