0.5-mi. trail to Mesa Arch, Canyonlands' most famous natural feature & a popular sunrise photo op.

👍 Very nice rest stop, a bit older and a little walk to the restrooms but nice none the less

👍👍 It's not much of a hike, being that it only takes 20 minutes to get to the lake. The lake is small but peaceful. I prefer it that way. There are many fish and the water is clean. A great place for meditation.

👍👍 Free parking with free buses that run efficiently to each of the villages. The parking lot is easy to get to and fairly easy to get out of. I found it best to get here early to get the best parking that is closest to each of the bus stops.

👍👍 Slept here for a night, fairly quiet and has bathrooms. I think the unsaid norm is to park in the far side of the lot with the unpaved surface if you're camping overnight. That side also has a portable toilet that is much cleaner presumably since it gets less use. No signs preventing overnight par...
